The Engineering Process

An engineering process is an array of steps that engineers often follow to solve problems. It is highly iterative, and certain steps may be repeated multiple times in a single project. The steps can be described and framed differently.

Research is the first step. This includes finding information, identifying needs and understanding the constraints. It is an essential part of the engineering process, allowing engineers to determine the most effective solution to any issue.
